Morning checklist I give relocators:

  1. Yellowstone road status -- NPS Park Roads page + recorded line (307) 344-2117 + text 82190 to 888-777
  2. Which entrance and which interior roads you actually need (West Entrance wheeled vs oversnow vs a redesigned North Entrance trip)
  3. Teton Pass / WYDOT if Jackson is on the itinerary
  4. Fuel and daylight for the full round trip -- Island Park and West Yellowstone are not a suburban ring road
  5. Weather on US-20 and Pine Creek Pass -- Eastern Idaho storms do not care about your itinerary app
