About MDS Homes

MDS Homes is run by three brothers, Morgan, Dallin and Scott, who grew up building things together and turned it into a family business, per MDS's website. The team is based in Shelley and builds across Southeast Idaho.

MDS handles design and construction in-house, and can also coordinate furniture and landscaping. Its FAQ lists a typical build of 10 to 11 months after breaking ground, plus 1 to 2 months of pre-planning. Its base level includes 9-foot ceilings (10 to 12 feet in great rooms and kitchens), a premium electrical package with recessed lighting, luxury vinyl plank flooring in main areas, a finished garage and large windows. Move-in-ready MDS homes typically include a finished basement, appliances, landscaping and fencing. MDS offers a one-year warranty.
